In 2023 Tipperary Museum successfully secured funding from the Heritage Stewardship Fund to run a programme to transfer traditional Irish craft and built heritage skills among diverse communities in Tipperary. A textile artist is working with Ukranians living in Tipperary and a Stone Mason is working with students from Colaiste Shliabh na mBan to demonstrate and teach embroidery and weaving and stone carving skills. During Heritage Week 2023 Tipperary Museum will show a video piece chronicling the project so far.
